Hearing care shaped by lived experience
Dr. Kristin Hinderliter is the founder and owner of Hinderliter Hearing Services. She was born with hearing loss, and that personal experience shapes how she listens to patients and explains their options. Her goal is to help people remove communication barriers and stay connected to the people and activities that matter to them.
Dr. Hinderliter was born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan. Before entering private practice, she worked at a Detroit nonprofit serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. In 2003, she co-owned a private audiology practice. She later founded Hinderliter Hearing Services as an independent practice offering doctor-led, unhurried hearing care.

Care for the way you live
Hinderliter Hearing Services provides diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing aid consultations and fittings, tinnitus care, hearing aid support, and custom hearing protection. Dr. Hinderliter works with patients from Birmingham and nearby Oakland County communities, including Bloomfield Hills, Royal Oak, Troy, and Southfield.
